What do you do as NOC Supervisor (SA)
I am part of the South-African team which is in a different time zone. That offers us certain technical benefits. South Africa is typically six to seven hours ahead of the EST time zone. This frees me and the SA team up to work on infrastructure maintenance, upgrades of critical systems and hardware devices as well as project rollouts “overnight” in America. These tasks allow for less disruption and downtime during US business hours. Working closely with the Atlanta team, I execute tasks across all the disciplines and even form part of the support phone queue.
How long have you worked at 360 and why did you choose this company?
I am in my second year at 360 as a full-time employee. I chose 360 because of their reputation and all the technologies they work with and implement for their clients.
What is your favorite thing about working at 360 or working in IT?
The fact that they are always advancing and staying on the forefront of technology makes me excited. 360 is truly customer-centric and proud of it. The “we are a family” vibe of the staff and the great care 360 has for its employees makes it a pleasure to go to work every day
What do you like to do outside of work?
Hiking in the mountains, spending time in nature with my family, and doing some bird watching. The odd BBQ is also a favorite to get me relaxed and enjoy the positive energy of people around me.
